Kids Fishing Clinics

FREE Rod & Reel Combo for Participants

Captain Don Dingman, host of the TV Show “Hook the Future” and long-time Captain, leads educational and entertaining fishing clinics at major boat shows and events across the Southeast. Don has a passion for teaching thousands of families annually how to succeed in fishing, while spending quality time in the outdoors with people you love.

At the end of each clinic kids will have an opportunity for questions and answers followed by a kids-only free raffle with dozens of great prizes. Kids (clinic participants only) will go home with a free Hook the Future/ Carolina Skiff custom rod & reel combo.

SCDNR Boating Virtual Trainer

Enjoy the high-quality graphics of a realistic experience navigating a boat. The simulator offers learning platforms where you can learn about docking, mooring, pivot turns, and more on a virtual waterway.

POP. ROCK. JAZZ. R&B. SONGWRITER. TEACHER – Chris began playing at age 13 and has been writing and recording original music since 2002. He can be seen playing most anywhere in the Charleston and surrounding areas.

Jacob Poole

Friday 2:30pm-5:30pm

Jacob Poole is a singer/guitarist from Charleston who plays a mix of music from all genres. Often compared to Ed Sheeran with better looks, Jacob’s style is very similar in that he incorporates guitar loops along with vocals to emulate a full band. His energetic presence can keep the party going for hours on end!

Jack Triebold

Saturday 2:30pm – 5:30pm

Jack Triebold is a versatile Charleston guitarist and vocalist known for standout fingerstyle and wide-ranging styles.

 

New Nantahala Strings

New Nantahala Strings is a local bluegrass band comprised of enthusiastic musicians hoping to make good music and put smiles on people’s faces wherever they go, focusing on new renditions of traditional bluegrass songs, gospel songs, and a growing number of originals. The band is currently made up of Gabe Collier (Guitar), John Cassidy (Percussion/Banjo), Sydney Apperson (Fiddle), Lincoln Buchanan (Fiddle/Mandolin), Luke Bomar (Bass), and Macy Skillman (Mandolin)
